Flower Carpet - Brussels

A few pictures of the beautifull flower carpet in Brussels.
Yesterday it got removed and unfortunately i didn't got a chance to go and see it but i'm happy to see these pictures. Since it is very hot in Belgium (about 35 degrees!), the flowers suffered a lot, but i guess they made a lot of people smile. Thankyou! Also a big thankyou to the volunteers braving the heat!

• Alles kan ik verdragen

Vorige maand overleed Rutger Kopland. 

Ik kende hem zoals een lezer denkt dat hij een dichter kent,

ik herinner me vaag een gedicht over sla dat ik als kind in het boekendorp Watou las,

een warme herinnering aan zijn fijne poëzie. Subtiel, zoet en onverwachts.
