Vandaag nam ik een kijkje in de Leuvense winkel Goddes Clothes en kwam betoverd buiten. Ik heb al enkele kledingstukken van het merk en ben er echt tevreden over. Ze zijn steeds weer origineel, van zeer goede kwaliteit en geven kleur aan mijn dag.
De twee ontwerpers hebben een visie, ik pluk enkele woorden van hun website :
"Making clothes and dressing people is an act of transformation. Like an actor that goes on stage and transforms the minute he performs, the same process everybody undergoes when he puts on a garment that gives him power.
In this way making clothes for people is a shamanistic act.
I enjoy most the moment when people look at themselfs in another way then before.
The main objective is to make strong, beautiful, nice clothes for women and a few models for men. Authentic clothes, not following other fashions, but visually very recognisible because of the use of a lot of handwork and own colour choices and fabrics."
De herfst komt eraan dus het doet deugd om zich goed in te duffelen en het gezellig warm te hebben.
